Current Agreed Types of Organisations Eligible for Affiliation:
Organisations of the following types are normally admitted to membership of the Federation unopposed, and their processing is considered to be an administrative consideration:
- Social Landlords, Registered or unregistered.
- Local Authorities
- Health Trusts, Health Agencies and Health Authorities.
- Government appointed authorities
- The Voluntary/Charity Sector.
The applicant organisation must:
- Be ?not for profit?
- and/or a public body
- and/or have income or a fund base which is from public funds
- and/or have income or a fund base which is from charitable sources
- and/or be operating from a trust or endowment bequeathed for the pursuit of philanthropic aims
- Be addressing Social Needs or social Consequences
- Be prepared to and capable of committing to the aims and objectives of LEOF.
